Whose data this is
Follow-Ups holds two kinds of data: a business’s account record (its name, trade, phone and email), and the business’s customer list (names, email addresses, phone numbers, service dates, and — where they exist — maintenance-plan renewal dates). That customer data belongs to the business. We process it only to run the business’s follow-ups, and we never sell it.
Where customer data comes from
From the business itself: customers it already holds in Re4rge Reviews, systems it connects (which deliver its customer list and job dates automatically), lists it chooses to import, and customers it adds by hand. We never pull data from a customer’s own accounts or devices.
Consent and stopping
Marketing messages are sent only to customers with a recorded consent for that business — recorded at booking, at connection of the business’s systems, at import with the business’s attestation, or by the customer texting START. Any customer can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to a text; that stop applies across every Re4rge messaging module for that contact, and we record it. Nothing is sent before 8am or after 9pm in the business’s local time.
What we track
For each follow-up: that it was sent, its type, whether the customer replied, and whether the business marked it booked. We do not record message content beyond the sent text, and we do not build profiles of a business’s customers for anyone else.
Processors
We run on US-based providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Twilio (text messaging, on a messaging campaign registered separately for marketing). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Your choices
A business can export or delete its customer list by contacting us, and can delete its account from its profile. A customer of a business can ask that business — or us — to remove their record, and a STOP reply removes them from messaging immediately.
